Cutis HowseCurtis is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Diversified Client Group within GE Capital Retail Finance. He has overall responsibility for 18 strategic client p&l’s, including eBay, PayPal, Amazon, TJX, Belk, Dillard’s, Chevron, Toy’s R Us and Specialty Retail Groups – North and South.

Curtis joined GE in 1994 where he held roles in Operations, Business Development and Client Development. In 1999 he was promoted to VP of Integration for the acquisition of JCP Credit Services in Dallas, TX. In 2001 Curtis was named VP of Sales for Home Depot Credit Services in Atlanta, GA where he received the GE Lewis Latimer Award for Sales Force Effectiveness. In 2003 Curtis was promoted to VP and General Manager for Sam’s Club Credit Services based in Bentonville, AR and received the AAF Icon Award for Growth.

In 2006 Curtis was promoted to President and CEO of GE Money Mexico, based in Mexico City and appointed an officer of GE Capital. In 2010 Curtis’ role was expanded to include strategic oversight for all Consumer Restructuring Operations businesses in the US, Argentina, Brazil, Canada and Mexico with combined assets exceeding $10B.

He assumed his current role in April of 2011. He is a recipient of the 2012 GE Capital Leadership Award for Inclusiveness and a 2013 recipient of the GE Chairman’s Award for Customer Focus. Curtis also serves as a Global Operating Leader for GE’s African American Forum. Curtis earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University and is based in Stamford CT.
