Carlos Pauling



Carlos Pauling is the Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Outcomes at Charlotte School of Law. Most recently he served as Vice President for Academic Outcomes at InfiLaw, where his primary areas of responsibility included continuous improvement of bar examination outcomes and academic support processes, faculty engagement, academic affairs best practices, and accreditation. Previously, he served as the InfiLaw Executive in Residence and a member of the faculty at the Charlotte School of Law, teaching in the areas of contract and commercial law. Prior to joining the InfiLaw system, Carlos was an attorney with Moore & Van Allen, PLLC, Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Wachovia Corporation, a Wells Fargo Company, and Executive Vice President and General Counsel for a private equity and asset management firm.


Carlos received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and he obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Duke University School of Law. Carlos also served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable K. Edward Greene of the North Carolina Court of Appeals in Raleigh, North Carolina.
