Ken Harris is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He obtained both his undergraduate and law degrees at UNC Chapel Hill. He has practiced law in North Carolina over the past 25 years and is widely considered one of the top attorneys in North Carolina. His many legal victories include a recent $10 million verdict against TASER that was featured on 60 Minutes. Harris has, for years, represented some of the top athletes and entertainers in the US.
For almost 15 years, Harris worked with NBA legend, Earvin “Magic” Johnson. Harris started a sports management firm with entertainment legend, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. For many years, Harris worked with top sports management firm, BDA Sports, representing NFL and NBA players. Harris has represented many notable entertainment figures like Mathew Knowles (Beyonce’s father), Nephew Tommy (Steve Harvey Morning Show) and Jamie Foster Brown (Sister2Sister Magazine). Harris has negotiated record deals with many major record labels, including Sony and Universal. And, Harris has charted artists on his own independent label. Harris is also the President and CEO of NDR Energy Group, one of the most significant minority owned energy companies in the US. Harris created and wrote the treatment for “REP”, which has now been converted into a screenplay by Universal Studio’s Michael Swanson. Harris is married to a wonderful wife, Felecia, who is a professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Harris has two children, Christian and Sydney.
