Registration is limited to the first 250 students that register

At the end of the conference, students will have the opportunity to join the YBM Top Scholars Program. This membership program will hold monthly workshops throughout the school calendar year focused on developing leadership skills, community service, and preparing for college by developing a strong resume that will make a highly competitive application for college admissions and scholarships. The program will also include parent workshops, college tours, and the opportunity to gain global experience and cultural awareness with a mission trip to Haiti. The program provides each scholar and his parents with the opportunity to secure the support required to navigate the complex processes of college admissions and scholarships. It is YBM’s objective to develop the ideal student who will be college, career and life ready.
YBM Top Scholar members will also have the opportunity to apply to be featured in our sixth annual YBM Top Scholars of Charlotte publication. This publication, shared with colleges, business and community leaders, will honor YBM members who have demonstrated academic excellence, served our community, and actively participated in YBM events. Selected scholars will be highlighted in the publication and recognized at YBM Scholar Day, a citywide event, which will be held in June 2017.
